How does it work?
Students are brought to the Appleby College campus where tutoring will take place under passive adult supervision. The first session is an introductory session where the student is assessed to gain a better understanding of their academic strengths and weaknesses. Each session is scheduled to be 45 minutes long. Soon after you will be emailed with the name of your permanent tutor. From there on, that will be the tutor that you book your sessions with.
Materials Needed For Student
Each session your child must bring their homework that they were given in class. If they were not given any homework in school please bring in your child’s notebooks or work that they’ve done in class so that we can make custom teaching plans for your child.
When is it available?
All sessions on the weekdays are after school. We do offer sessions on Saturdays if the student is unable to attend sessions during the week. Your tutor is chosen to be able to match the times that you communicate with us.
